Back to the The Compasses at Pattiswick on 11th April for Candy and Vicky’s wedding. Another stunning sunset of course.
We’re a bit behind on our updates for this year so it’s time to catch up. Back on the 28th of March Winnie found her way to Gaynes Park in Epping for Lucy and Christopher’s spring wedding.
Happy new year everyone! We’re waking Winnie up from her Winter hibernation to get her looking nice for our first date of 2019 which will be an open day at The Compasses At Pattiswick on Saturday 16th February.
For first time in three years we are raising our prices by £50. This is due to the increase in the cost of printing, transport and insurance.
Looking forward to meeting you all in 2019.
It appears that, unfortunately, some of our competitors have not only taken inspiration from Winnie (flattering though this is) but have also, frankly, stolen from us. We put a lot of time and effort in to our website and Facebook presence and to have that flagrantly ripped off is disappointing. One has to wonder about the integrity of people who would seek to compete with us by cheaply copying our website and changing some names.
Winnie is a labour of love for us. We put our hearts and souls in to dressing her and selecting just the right props to create her unique look and feel. It’s more than just a business, we genuinely want to add a little magic to any event we’re at. We often say that the best part of our job is standing outside and hearing the roars of laughter within.
The original, and the loveliest 😉
As the song says, go west. So we did, along the A120 to Bury Lodge, Stansted for Chloe and Lee’s wedding reception. Winnie found her spot on the grass at the back of the venue. We were treated to an hour long Cockney singalong and lots of lovely people making good use of Winnie’s photobooth. We hope you all enjoy the photographs for a long time to come.
We can finally break our silence! Winnie was the star of the show at a recent photo and video shoot for EE. We’ve been told the photos will be ‘everywhere’, so keep an eye out. Fingers crossed for some television exposure! Now you can have a media star as the photo booth at your wedding or party!
Winnie ventured forth in the evening sun to the barn wedding of Mike and Steph at Thames Chase Forest Centre. A cute courtyard provided the vista for Winnie’s photo booth. We even bumped in to our old friends Dirty Wafer!
Winnie wound her way up along the River Crouch and back down the other side to Rochford on Bank Holiday Monday for Graham and Tracy’s wedding at The Lawn. A beautiful venue set in some delightful grounds, perfect for Winnie’s photobooth. The kids especially enjoyed it and we got to premiere our new bubble machine!
Winnie was back at Captains Wood Barns for the wedding of Sophie and Steve. A beautiful setting enjoyed by all with live music and bonfires. Winnie’s photo booth was provided as a gift by their friend Jordan. Thanks so much for having us.
Rob and Kim invited Winnie along to their wedding reception at the stunning Spains Hall, near Finchingfield in Essex. A beautiful venue set in the grounds of the fifteenth century hall. Winnie’s photo booth was set up in the courtyard under the big clock and belfry. All the guests had a great time getting their photos. And thanks to the bride’s brother who kept us entertained with his conversation for most of the evening!
